EBB DUNEDIN - NEW ZEALAND
Completed March 2021

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Ebb Dunedin - Come as you are, Go as you please

Ebb Dunedin is a new modernist building designed by NZ architect Gary Todd, as a boutique hotel.

Indyk Architects were asked to create the  complete interior fitout for this flagship of CL Hotels NZ.

A four storey building of 27 guestrooms and 1 Suite, all gathered around a central atrium garden. The building and interior concept is based in modernity, art appreciation and local culture with relaxed luxury. Inspired by the city of Dunedin, the land and seascape, Indyk Architects embarked upon designing bespoke guestrooms, bathrooms and joinery elements, bedheads, wardrobes, and rugs.

A bold black and white palette inspired by the Edwardian Baroque stone banding on facades of many heritage buildings in Dunedin, makes bold the standard ‘Classic’ rooms.

Richer dark timber joinery and stone marble compositions embellish the ‘Superior’ rooms.

Indyk fitted out The Reception Lounge and Cafe with bespoke joinery, Indyk designed rugs and stone clad counters.
