QT PERTH FURNITURE DESIGN
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The objective in Indyk hotel room fitouts is to design a bespoke ‘family’ of furniture elements both unique and stand alone, and related as a whole, standardized to meet the requirements of client, user and layouts.
Diversity and design is critical to the concept.
Colour enlivens the design compositions
Materials are hard wearing and natural –the use of timber, timber veneer , leather and metal.
In the case of QT Perth rich fabrics and coloured leathers created an opulent detail.
All elements of the fitout are mocked up full size, reviewed, adjusted and evaluated.
Workshop drawings are produced as the next step, based off Indyk Architects' details.
Production is checked for quality by the Indyk team.
Throughout this process patience and collaboration is critical to the end result.
